The 30-30 in the red stained varnish is a looker. Congrats on the rifles!

Elegant is the only way to describe those early 1899's. They just feel right when you shoulder them.

I feel really lucky........

I have 3 1899's:

round barrel - A

octagon barrel - B

half round, half octagon - C (only one I've ever seen)

All 3 are unmolested & in nice shape, but can't prove it, cause I can't do pics

Now I gotta sell a couple military surplus to put the money back that I spent. Well worth it though. I will need plastic surgery to get the smile off my face when I shoot them.
