If I had known that 30-30 lever guns were so neat I'd have purchased one years sooner. It's also a great cartridge to handload and if those iron sights aren't as easy to see as they used to be, you can always put a low mounted Leupold 1-4x 20mm on top of that receiver. Looking forward to your report. Wish mine was in stainless but I'm staying with what I have because I'm honoring my late uncle's wish that I get it and carry it afield.

They only made 501 of those and they don't show up often. Now you just need the straight stock version to go with it! Keep moving forward!

If the impact is low, raising the rear sight will elevate the point of impact. Another example, if it is shooting right of center, the rear sight needs to be moved left, where you want the impact. John When truth is ignored, it does not change an untruth from remaining a lie.
