I spoke briefly with Judy, who is by Ken's side. She is handling this with grace and love. The kids are OK.
It sounds like Ken's recent head injury (back hoe bucket) caused a blood clot, maybe not currently active, but it still has to be a strong potential for the TIAs and subsequent seizures. He was unable to respond when another Campfire member and his wife came past the hospital for a visit. This is certainly not normal for Ken.
If Judy is able to sign onto the 'Fire she may need to correct this hasty report or maybe give an update. Meanwhile, wear out the knees in your pants, as so many have already been doing. I asked what else she or he might want or need and she offered no other suggestions. The sheer volume of prayers is much in their favor.
As mentioned, texts are probably best way to communicate and I think EdTooManyLetters has that handled. Cards could be sent to him (Ken Holbrook) via Mountain View Regional Medical Center, Room 433, 4311 East Lohman Ave, Las Cruces, NM, 88011.

I heard about him being in the hospital last night but couldn't find this thread.

I am almost > sick to my stomach.

Never met Ken, but have had a lot of fun with him about those NM "wabbits" and his big gun.
I was shocked and grieved to hear what he's going through, have thought about it a lot. I know that's traumatic for him and his family.
I wish him the best and hope for a good outcome. That's scary stuff.
