With heavy for caliber hard cast bullets properly applied you should come out of any discussion with a bear in good shape. Use hollow points, miss or hit the wrong places....well, you may wish to save the last round for yourself

As terrible as this is for the guy mauled, it's not the bear's fault. That's what they do, and if humans venturing into their habitat don't know that and come prepared, they shouldn't be there.

Sames true of a walk in the city. A couple days ago some homeless punk killed a near-PGA golfer lady in Ames Iowa while she was playing a round by herself in the middle of the day. 22 year old girl. No reason why. This girl was love by all and never hurt a soul. ISU was going to honor her as female athlete of the year this Saturday. Now they are having a memorial and minute of silence. When I leave my house I leave armed.
