Which powder in your experience will give me the best accuracy using Lapua brass?

Thanks.

I have not compared those two, but based on my 308 Win experience I say go for TAC.

Only your rifle will be able to tell you that.

TAC in 2 Montana 308s produced nice patterns......

You didn’t ask, but Varget.

2230 seems to be off the radar for most shooters but I have shot 2 8# jugs at prairie dogs and think it is the best for my guns.

TAC was developed for the 308 but many people also use it in 223 .

Like the man says only your gun will tell you.

I have not tried 2230 in the 308 yet. I did find a 30-30 load I like.

Also 223CFE is another great powder in the 308.

I need to try TAC in the .308. So far in multiple .308's it's hard to beat 46.5 grains of Varget with any 150.

That's the same load I use with Varget at around 2900fps in my rifle.45.5grs of TAC ran around 2900fps with the 150gr too.Accuracy was about equal.

Thanks. Any pet loads for the Kimber with TAC? Bullet, primer, case, and MV please. My brass arrives tomorrow and I can not wait to get on the range Fri morning. Leaving for WY next Fri.
