They sure don't make them like this anymore.

I'd never seen one in all my travels. A friend owns this one, and as one can see, it's for sale. I have no interest in it, just thought the 'fire folks might like to see a "classic" of sorts.

Geno

PS, I guess a PM might serve to get an interested party in touch with the owner. He told me he's open to lower offers. One would have to come get it from rural NorCal though.

Wow never even heard of that maker. Out of curiosity, what is the asking price?

To satisfy your curiosity................he has $15K on the sign in the window I believe.

His/our friend was there while I was talking to him. His friend researched it for the person who sold it to my friend a few years back and said they were going for $12-16K then. I heard it was restored by the grandfather of the fellow that sold it to my friend, new paint, engine and tranny work I think.

Geno

PS, I'd imagine some googlefu might find some comparable trucks, if there's any on the market. I was told there were very few made. Chrysler running gear they told me. Body work by the Powell folks.

may we assume it has a Plymouth flathead 6? and 3 speed. The wikipedia says they used a 28" inhouse designed engine in scooters. Quite a deal to do yourself.

Thanks Roger, seems my friend was right about the "RV' thing...........3 whole motorhomes! Bet they're worth a buck or two if still in existence.

Kenny,
yes, a flathead 6 and "3 on the tree". Buddy said it was a "Chrysler", but the wiki thing says Plymouth................it's all MOPAR to me.
