I see that Ron Shirk has them listed for $599.95 on page 20 in their current catalog, #31-4.
I don't recall seeing these previously and who can't like a stainless/synthetic 6mm?

I have one that I bought for when my kids are older. They are only 4 & 5 yrs old so I guess I will have to shoot it until they are a little older. The one I had purchased Remington had put one of their 200th anniversary stickers on the stock and it discolored the stock under it. I found an older model 7 synthetic stock that had the factory textured finish on it, I just have to put it on. I haven't shot the rifle yet, but plan on putting a Leupold VX-2 3x9 cds on it. I also sent the bolt out and had it spiral fluted. It should be a nice little light weight rifle.
