No out of place with private exclusive schools around metro DC... MY GF during my senior year went to a private school over in Alexandria... There were 10 girls in her class......an all girl school. Went to many parties thrown by the girls in her class....ALL of their parents were very wealthy. One gal's dad was the head reporter for the White House, representing Associated Press.. Christmas of 1969, her daughter had a Christmas Party down stairs in the basement while her folks had their Christmas Party on the Main Floor. Pretty much the high profile people of the press were there, along with Senators and Congressmen dropping by.... After about 10 PM, the adults invited the kids to come upstairs..... as a high school senior I recognized many high profile people.... the Vice President of the USA dropped by earlier in the evening... her dad was on a personal and first name basis with Richard Nixon, President at the time... People in those circles are untouchable especially their families... I saw that firsthand being around it. and most of the kids were exactly like being described in Christine Blasey's year book.

when i was senior in high school the principles daughter got a train pulled on her at a party and not by force. the pictures were all over school the next week. she became a lawyer and ended living next door to one of my buddy's here in corpus and was always causing him problems "bad neighbor". i told him ask her about Rufus's party, his problems with her stopped.

That Horton Arms or whatever school now charges 42 grand a year in tuition. Pretty sheltered, worry free lives for the fortunate.
