I recently acquired a rifle that came with a Leupold M8 Compact 6x on it. The finish is gloss black(no purpling or plum color) with a duplex reticle. The glass is flawless, and unless there are marks under the Burris rings, the gloss finish is nearly flawless as well. I’ll pull it off the rifle tomorrow and try to get a pic or two up, as well as the serial number and prefix. I’m looking to trade it for a variable like a 2.5-8, 2-10, 3-9, 3-10 etc. I can add cash on my end to even out the deal if necessary. Let me know what you’ve got to trade.

Have a really nice, vintage Redfield 3x9 variable scope, with no ring marks, and all power-zoom & turret adjustments work %100. Standard crosshairs are clear & tight. Optics are %100. Id swap you even up for the 6x. Like you, I have no use for it, and would put the 6x on my son's 10-22 rifle. Each pays shipping. Let me know. Email is fastest;

I guess I should have specified, I’m looking for something a bit newer. Thanks for the offer ds1911, but I’m going to pass.

Hadn’t really considered selling it outright, was mainly interested in trading it for a scope that would better fit my application. Scope is a 1984 vintage(per serial# prefix), and I pulled it off the rifle. There aren’t any ring marks per se. but there two tiny shiny marks on each side of the tube from the corners of the top half of the front ring. I’ve attempted to post pictures in the image gallery 3 times, with no success. I can text or email pictures to anyone interested, or anyone willing to post them here for me.
