Story in todays Bozeman Daily Chronicle-

16 year old Randal Googe has Duchenne muscular dystrophy. His single dad's accessible van was stolen and wrecked by 2 meth heads and he is now stranded. His GoFundMe page shows him and his dad and dog elk hunting, etc. He needs a new van badly. I gave some $ this morning and encourage any of you that can help to do so.

Thank You.

I'd just like to say that this is an instance where we, as individuals, can make a positive difference in someone's life and I thank you for taking the time and effort to do so.

HUNTS: I am new to GO FUND ME workings/etiquette but I went there and gave to this worthy cause.
Then after giving $25.00 I was able to see what other folks have given and I felt like a bit like a "piker" - some folks have given $100.00, $200.00 and on up to $1,000.00!
But again many folks had given smaller amounts than I gave.
Anyway the nifty little guy has surpassed his (someone's) stated goal already (in two days of collecting!) of $10,000.00 and I am so happy about that.
I hope they find the cretins that stolt his van and prosecute them.
And the important thing is he and his family will be travelling and afield again soon.
I have an account there at GO FUND ME now and I look forward to being made aware of folks in true need.
Thank you for making me aware of this over on the west side of Montana - hadn't heard of this til you posted.
Thanks again.

Don’t feel bad about your contribution amount, in fact I did the same amount as you. Some folks gave even less and that is what they could do. It’s all worthwhile.

The newspaper said they caught the two responsible as well as an amount of meth. I hope the judge gives it to these guys but good.

And thanks for giving what you could VarmintGuy, I hope these guys get out and have lots of new adventures together.

Everything helps VG, ya did good

I would imagine a new van decked out for a special needs person would far surpass 10grand. Hopefully they continue to raise more and get him something nice.

No doubt. I would think a decent van for him could cost 4x that amount. I hope the donations continue to roll in.
