Nothing close to me 100 yds away buck I just caught a glimpse of and couldn’t tell how big

Sat this afternoon...not a creature was stirring

Well got to my stand last evening, got ready to hook my Xbow to the pull rope, felt something sharp, and yup big sliver on the bottom of the rt. limb. Said Chit and called it an afternoon, Heading to a large shop that deals with Excaliber Crossbows! Lifetime warranty, just dont know how long to get a limb, hopeing they might have one in stock as its an hour drive each way, so im down for now!

Get a compound bow instead

Hunted this a.m. saw 4 doe, getting warm here 60 degrees still not happening yet I'm pulling back a bit

That's a better whitetail buck than any I've shot. Bob

Saw about 16 today.
5 were bucks, my beans are still greenish and this evening they were on it like I thought they would be.
My big 9 with the broken G2 was there and he’s also got a broken eye guard.
A 130ish 8 pt was there too....I’m kinda torn about him, he’s probably 3 1/2 but his tines are on the shorter side, nice and wide and good mass but I think there’s a bigger one that is on a neighboring property.

Definitely a couple up and comers for next year though. (for you anyway. I'd shoot either without thinking twice)

Good luck Dan, keep after em, I just got back from visiting and bow hunting up at an old Buds place in KS, got so close on a couple mid 140's and an upper 150's class buck, damn thick vegetation up there in that tight pocket I was hunting in, were I a poacher, i'd have pulled that Dan Wesson 10mm off my belt and shot that 150.

He invited me back up in two or three weeks when the ruts in full swing.

Dan my shoulders are shot, and now haveing to wear glass's I tried a buddies 50lb compond last summer, and just couldnt get in the grove again! at one time I owned 9 Compound bows and shot 2 leagues, before that i hunted with Long & Self Bows, getting old SUCKS

Well was a good night I called in 4 Toms and got one

I can't say for 100% but looks like my guy the Turk was by my stand this morning while I was hunting another property?
