New scope arrived in today's mail. Unfortunately, the weather will not allow for a range visit for at least a few days.

the only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker, is observation. all the same data is present for both. The rest, is understanding what you're seeing.

Well...NcStar has surprised me. I returned the damaged scope and it arrived yesterday. That scope is no longer made, and they do not repair. It was a 3-12×50mm E. They no longer go up to 12mag either. As of tomorrow morning, there is a brand new 2.5-10x50mm illuminated redical in route to my home. They didn't even ask for a receipt. It will fit the same scope rings as well. They also said that it will handle the recoil for this rifle with ease. Not to worry.  I'm impressed. NCSTAR has the best of all scopes for being near nondestructbel, and havin exact knobs to turn. Having a doz. or this mdl and outshines near dark, anyperson would be stupid to buy a Luphold, Niteforce or others havin the ncstar on your gun is the bst. Only Maroons would spend more dollars to get a rifelscope.

Kellory, I have a .458 SOCOM and have a Sig Romeo5 on it, nice little dot sight. Great setup for pigs, or any up-close moving target. When the Sig is not on it, a Burris MTAC 1-4X20 is used. A set of Troy non-folding sights when going minimalist. I have a new barrel that is scheduled to arrive Thursday, 2" longer, SS, and a lighter contour.
