VX6 2-12x42 Firedot in Talley LW rings on my 6.5 creedmoor.

Only thing I would change is to use lower mounts (if they were available)... patiently waiting for that! Maybe these Leupold Backcountry rings will be lower if they release a set for the FC.

I'm running a Swarovski Z3 3-10X42 on my Fireldcraft Swede. Great glass, I just wish I could get out and kill something with it.

Last spring I picked up a FC in 6mm CM and a bargain Sig Tango4 [4-12 x 42.]
Set in Medium Talleys, I thought I'd see what this little rifle will do and initial
targeting was great so I haven't screwed with it since even though the scope
seems large for that size rifle. My initial loads work very well and have accounted for
a few coyotes and fox.

I haven't tried any really long shooting [past 400 yards] and that will have to wait for summer.

The Tango 4 has some nice features.....I like the lighted reticle....knob turning has not
worked out well for me as I dig for reading glasses to see what I'm doing.

The jury is still out on Sig scopes for me but thus far it's doing the job.

A quick/dirty raised cheek piece to help with height of Talley base with Seekins low rings. It works well for shooting. I haven't hunted it yet. Made with a $2 flip flop (cut/shaped), gorilla taped to the stock, then wrapped with a $1.59 roll of coflex. Will probably take it hunting this weekend so I'll find out how bad stuff will stick to the coflex...it's made to adhere to itself. I will probably unwrap it a bit and thread it back through the previous wrap to tie it off better, though it hasn't loosened yet.

I like the NX8...well enough that I haven't taken it off this rifle yet. The reticle is course, but it works great for me on 300 yard steel as it seems easy to center....it's not looking at a fine aiming point like most scopes but it can be put on a target repeatably and quickly. I like it. Above 6x the image gets a little fuzzy and in low light it suffers a little. I'd love to see a x32 objective but like it well enough as is that, like PG, if the cost was a little less I have a couple more rifles that would be wearing it.

SWFA 6x, 3-9x42mm, Nightforce NXS 2.5-10x and 3-10x SHV. Have used Tally LW, Pic rails with Warne Mountain Tech and Burris Sig XTR rings. The FC I’m using this year has a SS 3-9x in Tally LW’s.

The stock packs I use also has a zippered pocket that I store extra rounds and a lighter. wink

Don't see going back to talley's anytime soon.

You make a good point: everyone's different and only you can tell what's going to work for you. I've got so many chin-weld setups it's almost my natural position. The FC fits me very well however. A rail would make swapping scopes easier though.

Curious how many of the guys giving stock cheek pad advise are running 40 plus moa in your mounts?

Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!

The Meostar is by no means a light weight, think it weighs in at 20.3 oz, but from what I’ve seen has excellent glass and I like the illuminated 4C reticle and eye relief runs about 3.7 to 3.9 inches which shouldn’t be a problem on this 6.5 Creedmoor

Those are Low's. I DO wish they made X-Lows!
