I paid about $70 more for mine. And thinking about ordering another now. But I thought they were limited. LOL.

Limited? I read somewhere recently that Buds ordered 750 pieces for this run. Sorry, I can not remember the source.

Can you get Ruger to fit a 22 mag cylinder to them?

Mine came in the 31st, and my FFL gave it to someone else w/o ever opening the box. He said he had to try to track it down and get it back. Sent me a text- says he'll have it in Tuesday. I didn't ask if he got the original or had to order a new one.

I still have not seen mine yet either, through no fault of Bud's. I had them ship it to one of their preferred dealers, whom I had done business with in the past. Only to find out the next day, the dealer had gone out of business in the last couple months.
I ordered at 10:00 pm Sunday night, and called Bud's twelve hours later to amend the shipping designation, but the revolver was already on Fed-Ex.
So it traveled from Lexington out to Parma Id, then was returned to Lexington and then reshipped. It should be available, per tracking, to pickup tomorrow PM.
I had considered the option of trying to have a 22 mag cylinder built or purchased. But hell, there are two single sevens in the safe. And the 327 will definitely cover anything I might do with a 22 mag.
The possibility still exists that the S six might go to the gunshop for action work along with my S seven and have the Bisley parts cannibalized.

I have the single six in hand. It is pretty nice.
And I have decided, it is getting cannabalized. I want the Bisley grip, hammer, and trigger on the single seven.
Then I will have the barrel cut to 4 5/8" and it will just be a run of the mill Single six. But the S Seven will finally be exactly as I always wanted it to be.

But the S Seven will finally be exactly as I always wanted it to be. I want mine with the 7-1/2 inch barrel and Ruger ring-mounts on the rib. Haven't quite figured out how to manage that yet. I hope the folks at Lipseys and Ruger are listening.

I finally took possession of mine from the FFL. Have yet to hit the range but first impressions are good. This gun has the best factory trigger I've yet experienced in a Ruger single action. It's a hefty little thing but feels good in the hand. A perfect understudy its .45 colt big brother. The overall fit and finish are excellent with two exceptions. First, the front sight is somehow scratched and shows a distracting wipe of silver on the blade when aiming. In partnership with this is a scratch across the muzzle which doesn't affect the crown but is a bizarre thing on a new gun and certainly unnecessary. I'll be calling Ruger tomorrow about a new front sight.
BTW, our recent gob of orders must have motivated them, as they jacked the price up to $445.
