Shot a decent 10 pointer bow hunting today and got to try out one of Tim's semi-spear point skinners. Knife did great. Gutted, skinned, deboned and then rough trimmed the meat on a buck that field dressed at 176 lbs. It's ready for a touch up now, but it did very well. Thanks again Tim, bludog

Good buck and nice knife.... Grats
Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.
Ain’t easy havin pals.

Thanks and it's back to shaving sharp after 10 strokes per side with an 800 grit and 10 strokes per side with the strop. A couple of minutes max. Meat's on ice, and now it's the wife's turn, and I'm waiting for rifle season, or may go for a turkey while she's still bow hunting. We've got a couple of really nice big bucks out there, and it's time to be really choosy. We are very blessed.

Well done. Like the others said nice buck and knife.

Well done. I owe Tim a review on one of his M4 blades that I'll get to soon as I kill my elk...

Thanks you guys, this was my first bow kill. I've missed a couple and unfortunately hit a couple with my compound that I didn't recover. And after a target session in August, it was obvious my 59 year old right shoulder was not interested in pulling a compound bow anymore, so I went with the crossbow.
I'll be interested in your review Journeyman. I'm kind of interested in the "supersteels", but the mini-Griptilian in 154 CM has been a great EDC and this knife from Tim did a LOT of cutting Saturday, a LOT. And yeah, it needed to be sharpened afterwards, but it literally took less than 2 minutes to get it back shaving sharp. Hope to give it a lot more use in the coming months and years.
