Remington 700 XCR compact tactical rifle in .308. Has the 20” fluted barrel, free-floated, 1:12 twist and is threaded 5/8-24 with thread protector. Has the factory Bell & Carlson stock in OD green with black webbing. Adjustable trigger. This is the XCR version made from 416 stainless and then coated with the black Trynite PVD coating. The rifle is in very good shape. There are a couple of small dings on the underside of the barrel near the fore-end, but are inside one of the barrel flutes. Otherwise in very nice condition.
There are no issues with this rifle, and it feels really good in the hand. Well-balanced. These rifles sell for $1,111 cash price + shipping at Bud’s, plus this one is already threaded and ready for your suppressor or favorite brake. The threading alone was $125. This is not the cheaper SPS tactical rifle, but the high-end XCR rifle in the compact platform. Asking $850 shipped to your FFL. Paypal F-n-F or US Postal money order accepted for payment. Will also consider trades for a high-end scope + / - cash. Let me know what you have.
PM me with your questions or if you want more photos. And if you send me a PM and don’t hear back from me in half a day, please resend the PM. PM’s sent by two Fire members in the past week have not landed in my box. 😏

I had not, Bull. But I looked them up. Quite a large family operation. There are a lot of great things happening in Alabama in forestry and wildlife management.
Just realized I made an error in my description. The factory stock is an H.S. PRECISION stock, not a Bell & Carlson stock. It's now listed on Gunbroker. Buy it here for less money at $800 shipped.
Most of the Remmy Model 700 CDL's have a 13-1/2" length of pull. Some a little lower. The compact tactical is right in there at 13-3/8". So it's pretty much a standard length of pull. The "compact" comes from the 20" barrel giving an overall length of just 39-3/4".
