Not sure if this is the correct place to ask but looking to see if anyone can run a quickload data for me? 7mm mag, 150 hornady eld-x (or nosler e tip 150), IMR 7828, cci250 primers, Winchester brass, 3.300 coal, 26” barrel. Just trying to see where the burn times end up at. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Do you happen to have the measured H20 capacity of the cases you are using? Measured bullet length? At your specified COAL are the bullets touching or jammed into the lands?

I don’t know the case capacity rite off, the hornady bullet is 1.402 overall and the Remington 700 has a real long throat so I’m just loading at basically factory mag length.

Sorry, I just realized I never got back to you on this. Apparently, my version of QuickLOAD doesn't have the ELD-X. The last update I did was about 2 years ago. Using the 150 grain Nosler BT (@ 1.300" length) USE THIS DATA AT YOUR OWN RISK
Cartridge : 7 mm Rem. Mag.
Bullet : .284, 150, Nosler BalTip 28150
Useable Case Capaci: 74.340 grain H2O = 4.827 cm³
Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 3.300 inch = 83.82 mm
Barrel Length : 26.0 inch = 660.4 mm
Powder : IMR 7828 SSC
Predicted data by increasing and decreasing the given charge,
incremented in steps of 0.291% of nominal charge.

If I keep the Nosler 150 grain BT but increase it's length to the length you provided (I'm assuming for the ELD-X?) of 1.402" it shows about a 1.0gr reduction.

My apologies for answering a question you didn’t ask, but if you’re willing to consider the 162 ELDX, here’s some data. Knocking on 3,000 fps. WLRM primers, Remington brass. Kills stuff, a lot. P
Obey lawful commands. Video interactions. Hold bad cops accountable. Problem solved.
