Isn't this just a factory stock with a rattle can paint job?

The only thing I can think is that in the description it says used on a mountain rifle. Can a Model 7 stock be used on a 700 Mountain rifle? I didn't think it could.

The 700 and the model 7 can not interchange stocks, It looks like a fiberglass after market stock like a a older Brown Precision

From a quick look it appears to be an HTS/Bansner M7 stock with a flip-flop recoil pad. I've finished several of them up in the past and they make a GREAT lightweight stock for the M7.

I've owned quite a few Bansner stocks. That's a factory Remington plastic stock.

Make sure you go to the correct stock........ you'll have to link to it from the "sold" link which is actually taking you to a different stock that is currently for sale (which is a factory M7 stock).

JCM,

You're correct, I was looking in the wrong ad. That looks very much like a Bansner stock.

You are on a roll. Mr. Walter is also knowledgeable on the 22lr.
