I wonder if the "wonderful" Moreno Valkey elk guides in Northern NM still have those evergreens which apparently seem to produce apples by the truck load, it is said.
Surrounding ranches seem to have a dirth of elk after they start falling. NM Fish and Game seem to benefit from the apples produced by evergreens, it is said.
They have a great track record in getting elk. Just dont expect surrounding properties without the special evergreens to produce much more than blood, sweat and tears.

I'm still trying to figure out the "bait" in regards to elk hunting? "We shoot 330-350 bulls regularly."

No, my buddy backed out of the trip after reading about this clown. The friend has already paid big bucks, so will take a hit. Promised a record class elk....
