Wasn't sure where to post this so putting it here. I have a project where I need to insulate some buckets. I want some kind of insulation solution that won't absorb water. So taking a 5 gal Home Depot bucket, any thoughts on ways to get say 2" of spray foam insulation all around it? Could be more, hate to go less than 2". Random thoughts welcomed. Thanks

Edited to include, I need 5-10 of them.

Might try the $2 liner for Home Depot buckets while you are there. You can glue it in permanent.

Try to source some cutoff scraps of plastic culvert pipe in the correct size. Center the bucket in with a couple blocks of wood then fill the gap between the bucket and culvert with spray foam.

If I may ask, what is the bucket being used for?

If you want a thicker exterior coat, cut down a PVC barrel, line it with a trash bag, insert your bucket and add your spray foam around it. When cured, peel or cut off excess bag.

the only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker, is observation. all the same data is present for both. The rest, is understanding what you're seeing.

Keeping water at 85-90 degrees in low temps via a tank heater only.
