Well, I'm listing this as a feeler, but I need to raise some funds, and I'm starting to realize that it's gonna be quite awhile before I'll have the chance to put my hunting focused rifles to work. I'm primarily focused on precision rifles at the moment, and have far and away more opportunity to use those than I do my wood and steel hunting rifles. I just don't have the time, and right now can't really justify the funds being tied up in the safe just sitting, especially when one of my other rifles can pull double duty. I don't necessarily WANT to sell this, so I may change my mind at any time. Act now if you're interested!

So, up for your consideration is an excellent condition CZ/BRNO Effect FS (full-stock) rifle, chambered in .243WIN. I'm told that a relatively small number of these were imported in the .243 chambering, with most being in .30-06. Here's your chance to snatch one up! Wood looks very good. Not necessarily a lotto winner, but definitely no slouch either. Bluing is deep and even, and the trigger if phenomenal, especially when set (yes, this has the set trigger)! Bore looks good, and it has an adjustable rear sight. Also included are a few spare extractor parts, and a hard-to-find CZ 1" QD scope mount specifically for the Effect. A total package, just add ammo! And yes, I have the original box and papers.

I'm asking $1500 shipped for everything to your FFL by me, an individual. If it needs to be shipped from my FFL to yours, add $50. Payment may include PayPal (gift or add 3.5%) or a USPS money order only. No Western Union, no Walmart transfers, etc. I may consider a personal check, but I will require it to clear before I ship.

These are a little rare. What is the LOP, weight and twist of the barrel?

They are quite rare, yes. Hence why I've listed it with some apprehension.

Weight: 6lbs 7oz
LOP: 14.5" (yes, I triple checked)
Twist: Not positive, I can't seem to find my .22cal cleaning rod.

They are nice little rifles. I also have one in .243, and I'm quite happy with it.

The rifles my be rare, but that scope mount is absolute unobtainium. CZ-USA only sells non-qd mounts. The rear sight on mine is a non-adjustable blade, so I suspect this one is aftermarket. A great addition if you plan on using the irons. This is a sweet setup at far less $ than a Blaser or Merkel.

Twist is 1 in 10.
