Titewad, Unique, Bullseye, Red Dot, Titegroup all did well for me. Titewad ended up being the most accurate.

No filler and ten grains of unique. I like to use magnum primers.

No filler with any of these loads. Fillers cause more problems than they solve with these kinds of loads, in my experience. And I've not noticed any difference in short-range accuracy using magnum primers, but they don't hurt, either.

With Unique and all the others I listed, I started with 10 grains, worked up to 15, and ended up settling on 12. I've not run it over a chronograph, but it is very mild. Barely supersonic, I'd say. Fun shooter. No recoil. Small-game accurate past 50 yds. Find out what charge your gun likes.

Once upon a time I worked up some .308s with about 15gr of 4759 and Speer 110gr jacketed HPs. Deadly on chucks and one fox. Those HPs look like revolver bullets. Trail Boss should also get you there, but is slightly spendier. It fills the case, so there shouldn't be any hangfires like I got with 4759 at times.

What fresh Hell is this?
