The trigger on my 30-30 is very wobley. Loose. It moves side to side alot. Is that normal?

Both mine and my son's are. Circ a 1971. Very accurate.

A characteristic of the Marlin 336 that bothers some. Personally I do not notice it.

Shim one side of the lever if it concerns you. Once shimmed,your pull repeatability will definitely improve.

Happy trigger kit from Wild West Guns. Get the bearproof ejector and the happy trigger. Have it put in professionally if not well versed in the 336 or 95. Works in both. Gets the wobble out, a bit lighter pull, and the ejector is improved upon. Ask around of guys who have done this. Haven't met a guy that didn't like the difference. Rusty

It does not bother me in the least, as long as it is not a "problem". Sounds like i'm good to go!
