Everytime I've tried it it's hard as a brick. I like the flavor of it but I just don't have the teeth for it. Is it supposed to be that way? Is there a recipe for one that is easier to chew and doesn't get stuck in your teeth as bad?

Yuck!!

Know fat, know flavor. No fat, no flavor.

I tried going vegan, but then realized it was a big missed steak.

I make a batch every year that seems to be well-received. Two things that I do are 1) wrap them in cheese cloth, brush the cheese cloth with brandy, seal them in Zip-Locks for a month, rebrushing about once a month, and 2) leave out any toothbusting nuts and nut hulls.

I'm gonna be on the lookout for one. Might have to be something from the cracker barrel though.

My grandmother did something like that, but she's been gone so long (I was a kid when she passed) I don't remember exactly what she said.

Denny, some cute little tomatoes, some fruitcakes, some that went to power their nose, I'm still waiting for. Is it time to worry? grin
