They're high quality rifles, that shoot lights out...according to most that own them. They do use a "special" mount for scopes, and are slightly higher priced than most off the shelf rifles. They also have a shorter bolt throw at 60 deg, which gives a bit more clearance of scope.

Gunbroker is your friend, lots of new models on there, including Medallion series.

Hey, I have one in 223- 8twist. Haven't found the magic load yet. Shoots everything from 40 V-Max to Barnes 62 tsx, mostly around an 1" to 1-1/8" likes 65 V Max with 8208 xbr. Just loaded some old 55 sierras in some ( time to through out cases) there more for the semi & coyotes, but I'll try them in the X bolt , ya just never know??? Nice clip or mag or whatever the newest Z word is in the tactical world we're in. No rattle, no protrusions, ya 60 degree bolt is nice, trigger mmm not bad, but not cz either. Ya shouldn't be disappointed, Go for it. BillπŸΎπŸ‘£πŸΎπŸ‘£πŸΎπŸ‘£

There is no mention of the 223 or 22-250 in the product specs page.

After doing some exploring on Browning's website, I learned the 223 and 22-250 LH X-Bolt Medallion model is no longer in production.

Yes, but have ceased production in their SSA action, which the 223 and 22-250 are made on. Its their Super Short Action and have become real hard to find.

I'm more interested in something for longer range big game hunting without going all the way up to a Hells Canyon McM LH. It's a shame they don't make any of the 'Long Range' models in LH except that Grey Laminate.

Anyone know which dealers or distributors picked up the adjustable grey laminates from SHOT 2018?

Hey me again, Bill, The LH I have is in 223-1/8 twist, it is just the hunter model. It works great!!!! If your looking at medallions & u say there no longer available maybe buy a hunter model & have the exact wood or glass stock put on after market! There's always a way around stuff. Don't give up!!! πŸΎπŸ‘£πŸΎπŸ‘£

The Hells Canyon McMillian is made in LH. I saw one on gunbroker.

Hi Bill. I looked at all the different models of X Bolts and it is saying those two calibers are no longer in production. Maybe I haven't looked in the right place. I'd sure be interested in yours if you decided you wanted to sell it.

I was hoping to keep it around $1200ish-- a LR Stalker or LR HC (non-McM) would be awesome. The grey laminate adjustable fits that bill but literally cannot find them anywhere!! I've never owned an x-bolt but I've held them at the store and the stock size/design seemed small so I was excited to see something with an adjustable comb.

What are some other thoughts you guys have for a sea to summit LH (or not) factory rifle/cartridge combo? I was thinking X-bolt 300wsm or 300wm (the new LR versions have 1-8T), Tikka 270wsm (the 1-11T throws me off in their .30 cal options) or maybe even a righty.... Kimber Montana 270wsm, 300wsm or 300wm.

Thoughts?

I just saw a LH Hells Canyon 6.5 CM for sale on gunsamerica.com

It was not the McMillan stocked model but doesn't carry that price tag that the McMillan stocked model does.

actually, it IS the McMillan stocked model. My mistake.

I would call this guy. It's priced like its the McMilan stocked model. There may be a typo here and you can get a better price on it.

Great looking rifle! I'm aiming to find one in 300wm or possibly 7RM. I like that Browning updated to faster twist barrels on their Long Range lineup this year. Now just to find that one right one in LH!

The 223 & 22-250 are outfitted with 1-9'' twist barrels. I found a LH 22-250 hunter model online. Could not stand the temptation. Bought it.

OSU. Sig, sorry even if I wanted to sell u mine it would be nothing but a headache? I live I Cannucastan. πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ I've been through the LH bit for 67yrs. It's better now, but they still only produce them in regular calibers. I think being LH from the get go that we are a little (diff) anyway, we don't want regular cal. I'd love a 257bob, a wwsm 223, 243, 257!!!!!! Not gona happen!!! It seems now that you have lucked into the one ya wanted, don't delay go for it, you won't be sorry!!!!! What I really wanted was the super short action in the 223 with 1/7 twist in stainless. I know I know but I can dream can't I. When ya get it let us know how things are going, acc, loads, etc. A 22-250 in 1-9 twist, wow ground hogs to deer gun rt there!! I'm out BillπŸΎπŸ‘£πŸΎπŸ‘£

Bill, I understand. One would think that two countries who share the longest open border on earth would be able to send things back and forth to each other...

Regarding the 257 Bob, I rebarreled a Tikka T3 to a 9 twist 257 bob and love it. I've not been bitten by the wssm bug although I'm not sure how I've avoided it.

I have a LH X-Bolt Micro Hunter in 7 mm 08 and absolutely love it. Although I am not sure if it is still available.
