Thanks for all the replies, from budget MacGyver to high-end Swaro. Jordan, I was not familiar with PRS but they seem to have some great stuff. And great prices.

Have you used any of their rifle cradles?

Outdoorsmans has quite a few tripod adapters. This was offered before Leica made their Stabilite. It is small and very lightweight. While I don't use it all the time, it is so small and light it usually comes along in the pack. It clamps directly to one barrel of the binocular for a solid and dependable attachment. I attach the adapter plate to its underside. It was the best option for the Leica 10 x 42 rangefinder at the time and still works well.

I haven't. On my comp rifle I’ve gone to an Arca mounting system, and for hunting I use the Triclawps, although the PRS cradles look like a very good, affordable option. I just haven’t tried them.

I'm deeply disappointed that you didn't want to come out and carve up a piece of Corian and buy a bungie....

You’ll like it. That’s the saddle I was referring to.

You know, you could make some less creative people feel kind of dumb, sometimes, maybe.

I really like the Outdoorsman binocular stud set up. It's not cheap, but neither were your new binoculars.

Neither was that "Once in a life time hunt" or really big animal you're pursuing!

Well, I went with the Meopta's and they are threaded with a $12.99 mount that Doug sent. Not for naught though, the thread gave huntsman a chance to strut his stuff. You should see his crank-up front rifle rests.

I think they based "MacGyver" on huntsman.
