Azshooter Campfire Tracker Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 4,284 Tucson, Az.	Outdoorsmans has quite a few tripod adapters.This was offered before Leica made their Stabilite. It is small and very lightweight. While I don't use it all the time, it is so small and light it usually comes along in the pack. It clamps directly to one barrel of the binocular for a solid and dependable attachment. I attach the adapter plate to its underside. On my comp rifle I’ve gone to an Arca mounting system, and for hunting I use the Triclawps, although the PRS cradles look like a very good, affordable option. I just haven’t tried them.

Not for naught though, the thread gave huntsman a chance to strut his stuff. You should see his crank-up front rifle rests. I think they based "MacGyver" on huntsman.
