OP 30338 Campfire Outfitter Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 11,352 Denver	Have had enough fun the last few years hunting with the right-handed Hawken, that I decided to go ahead and get a lefty build going. Using Tom Watson to assemble the parts I bought. He is quick and quite reasonable on this type of work. And the rigs that I have seen built by him certainly seem straight and well done. He is sending pics along the way so I'll post them as we go. It'll have the longest lop we can get from the pre carved extra fancy maple stock. Barrel is 54 cal, 70 twist and will be cut to 34". Here are a few recent pics as we get underway. Might be done by Christmas though it is officially my 30th wedding anniversary gift for 2019. Pretty excited to hunt with it next fall.

And there was a small repair in the lock area. I think the figure on it is pretty nice and what I was wanting. Hoping when I get hands on it, that it fits what I was looking for. It seems to at present. Still needs to be proofed and should have here around Dec 17.
