Not exactly a "gunsmith" question, per se, but I thought this might be the place to start. I'm trying to buy mags for my "new to me" S&W semi-auto models 639 and 4566.
Do the mags from S&W first-generation, single-stack 9mm semi-autos (Model 39) work in second-generation, single-stack semi's (Model 639, etc)? And likewise, do mags from S&W second-generation, single-stack .45ACPs (Model 645) work in S&W third-generation, single-stack .45ACPs (Model 4566, etc)?
