Have not found absolute truthful info . But have heard several claims that the BL22 was offered in 22 magnum for the European market.

That would be interesting if true, could not imagine them not selling here, but stranger things happen.

Don't know but have heard it from several sources. When searching for info on a BL 22 22 long rifle I bought a few different mentions of 22 mag for Europe popped up online as well. Never had a need to investigate those claims any further. Just was throwing the info out there if someone wanted to investigate the possibility.

Too funny.

To you BL-22 owners, do you lube the action - oil or grease?

65BR: The answer to your first question is, no.
The answer to your second question is, "I" don't know if they ever "considered" that.

Gotcha.

Given the past demand for 9422 WMR, do you all believe a BL-22 Mag would sell well?

It does exist, but rare to see one

Bought my BL-22 in 1975. I oil the action, lightly.

I keep the action lightly oiled on my early 1980’s BL22. I lightly wipe the removable tube magazine section down with oil also.
I’ve never seen nor heard of a BL22 mag.

.22 and .17HM2 are the only calibers they made the BL in. Buddy of mine has several BL-17's and they are worth $1k minimum today. CDNN blew out a bunch at $300 or $400 when they were discontinued.

That would be an interesting rifle. Not sure how common ammo is to find in HM2.

Re: the 9422M - heard only great things about them....had an LR and sold it.....only as it didn't feel right with glass.

A peep or Red dot seems to meld well with these little levers. Plain irons work, but it's a struggle on the eyes at times.

The Win 22 mag, lever gun is a very accurate rifle. I had one for a while that I hunted coyotes with for a quick follow up shot. 22 Mags need cleaning, and NEVER shoot a plated lead bullet in one, every 250 round intervals works best. I sold the Win and bought two ruger SS boat paddle versions, never looked back. Cleaning from the rear is a lot easier than cleaning from the front. The ruger and the Win shoot around an inch group at 100 and sometimes smaller depending on the wind.

Marlin and savage clip 22 Mags are usually very, very accurate, and re spring both to have a fabulous trigger. I especially like my Marlin Tube version.

Win 40g HP is a true jacketed SP bullet, and this bullet is a coyote killing bullet in spades!
