OP Dubiedog Campfire Member D Joined: Feb 2016 Posts: 291 Wyoming	Found a neat old 22 at a local shop for a great price. It's not collector grade by any means but the appearance is nice overall. I'm not a collector. I'm a shooter. The barrel stamp is KD, which is May 1935, the last year of the model 34. What a piece of engineering. The lift gate that places the cartridge parallel ahead of the chamber is genius! I can see why short, long and long rifle will feed so easily. Anybody else shoot one? I'm looking forward to getting it out to the range. I sure hope I can see through the tiny aperture on the peep.

History repeats itself because it worked. If it didn’t work in the first place, it wouldn’t be history but another lost story of insignificance.
