I have an extra standard 06 pre-64 original stock. Its an OK stock-nothing fancy. With attached sling.
No extra bottom metal or screws.

I appreciate the thought, but I have two on eBay right now that end tomorrow evening.....Likely go with the 280 AI stainless and a McMillian stock. If I didn't already have a FN Winchester 338 WM Extreme Weather in the safe, the 338-06 would have probably won out.

That's quite a good photo. What camera/lens did you use?

10-4.....The Super Grade stock fits me like a glove. I’ve got a Pre64 that could use a new handle, someone chopped the LOP down to midget size. I need to make the $700 phone call and order one I reckon... cry
