B-E-A-utiful. Been lusting for a Sharps for too long now. Might just have to do something about it in the near future.

It is 45-70. I took it antelope hunting this weekend and found a nice sandstone background for another picture...

I use Smokeless powder for most of my shooting with 405 grain cast bullets and 5744 powder. I do shoot black in BPCR matches with 500 grain bullets...

I sure wish I was several years younger so I could order a Shiloh and get to shoot it. We went to Big Timber and the shop last year when we went elk hunting. Saw some fantastic guns but NO elk.

Beautiful. I’m a wood whore so that ones perfect.
I have Shiloh Sharps rifles in 45-70 and 50-70.
Both are nice, but not that nice.

I had a standard heavy half in .40-65 for a good while. Nothing fancy, but the fit and finish was perfect. Agree. No finer gun maker in the US today. Maybe some custom shops can equal, but none finer.

The exact rifle I have been looking for forever...
