I would give a slight edge to 7 RM for target (400 yards) accuracy. This is for my small comparison of only one ,270 Wby. mark V rifle using both 130 and 150. It would hold tight groups on 100 yard targets but the five shot 400 yard groups were larger than both my 7 RM and regular .270 Win.

However, I have given some thought to re barreling a rifle to .270 Wby and specify 1-9 twist with a view toward using 150 gr loads.

No experience with .264 WM

Forgot to mention, a mark V rifle front action screw goes directly into the bottom of the recoil lug rather than into bottom of action. Don't know what effect this has on longer range accuracy?

I own multiples of all three calibers listed. I like the 7mm Remington Magnum because you can load heavier bullets for Moose Etc. the 264WM is a great cartridge but I find it to be a little harder on barrels than the 7mm magnum. Now the 270WBY...oh yes. My most accurate hunting rifle, a one holler NULA.

I have multiples of each also, if there could only be one, it would be a 7 Rem mag. This Kleinguenther is my favorite 7 mag.

I've had 2 270's at one time or another. Fine rifles but never did just fall in love with them. I had a Sako 7mm mag and a Rem 700 in the same and got tired of the recoil. I enjoy taking rifles to the range and shooting anywhere from 25-75 rounds through them and the 7 just didn't let me enjoy that. Accuracy was fine and it worked well on elk and the little hill country whitetail.
The 264 is my favorite. Light enough recoil, supremely accurate for a factory rifle (.5-.7" groups) drops elk and whitetail like the 7 does and best of all, I can take it to the range and shoot 50-75 without needing an arm in a sling on the way home.

7mmRM for the most part with the 270 Weatherby Mag in close 2nd place (it's a hot rod) not a target gun. MB

I have all three. I have harvested deer with the 270 Wby and the 7mm, I have not harvested anything with the .264 as of yet. I would say that the 3 deer than were taken with the 270 Wby, farthest being approximately 430 yards and the closest being 60 yards. All 3 dropped in their tracks, like a lightening rod from the sky. Of the 4 or 5 deer taken with the 7mm Mag, with federal factory ammo, all of them dropped, I think one took a step after being hit. Now this same 7 mag was bought by my Dad in the late 1960's and he used it for 35 something years and to my recollection he never had to track one, while I was with him.

My uncle was a 264 man while I was growing up, and he took tons of deer with it.

I think it is take your pick, bullet selection and shot placement. These 3 calibers are awesome.

They are all so similar it’s just a Chevy ford dodge kinda deal ,
But I have a mark V 270 Wby that consistently shoots 0.3moa groups with a couple loads , besides being very capable on lots of critters . So I’d be biased to it .

Plus the case is sexy

The 7mm RM if for no other reason than the ammunition availability. Any Walmart has them and that sure isn't the case with the other two. A friend of mine had the 270 WM and threw the front half of his mule deer away from blood shot meat. I've never had that from my 7 mm RM, but have always used heavier 160-175 grain bullets for it for deer and elk. It recoils too much for our close in whitetails, but out west my elk were just as dead as the elk with the .300's and .338's and my rifle weighed two pounds less than theirs did.

My other auto is a .45

My 270 Weatherby is a Mk V Sporter with a 24" barrel, I could not get it to shoot well with 130 gr bullets so I tried 150 gr Hornady SP's and a max dose of 7828 with Fed 215's of course. Really nice tight groups at 3150 fps and I quit experimenting right there with it, deer and antelope deluxe performance. MB

Better for hunting what? I am partial to the 7RM just because of very limited use of the other two. I had a run of one shot kills of 28 head of game with the 7RM or 32 if you omit two finisher shots. I doubt I will ever have a run like that again just because I don't hunt as much as I used too. Shooting the 160-175 grain loads I have to pace myself at the bench especially in T-Shirt weather. With 120 grain Barnes the recoil is not bad at all. My Dakota 7RM on it's second barrel and third stock re-finish will be the last rifle I will ever sell if it comes down to that.

If I had started with either the 264 W or 270 Weatherby I would probably feel the same way about them. They are all good.

I've shot deer with all 3. Not too much difference. Sold my 270 WM and still kinda regret it. My 7 groups 160 accubonds really well and I shot a nice mulie in Wy last year with it. Hammered quite a few whitetails with the 264/120 X load. Will try 140 accubonds next.
These 3 are almost interchangeable in my opinion. YMMV

Never owned a 264. But have several of the others. My favorite is a 270 wby. Its the one on top of this group of Kleinguenther rifles.
