This barrel is from a circa 1996 M70. Based on how little wear there is on the action when I bought the rifle, I doubt this barrel has more than 20 or 30 rounds down it.
It's had a muzzle brake added (professionally and quite nicely). I've marked the 21" spot on the barrel with a sharpie to show the relationship of the brake to the barrel's OAL (the joint starts at 21-3/8"). The OAL of the barrel w/brake is 23-7/16".
It has a wear spot under the stock level where the plastic forearm rubbed it. Also, a few minor take-off marks. No gouging. A Nicely clean barrel with crisp threads.
Obviously the brake could be cut-off, and the barrel recrowned. A brake of this quality would make a nice deep sea fishing weight.
