For Christmas I received 2 new knives from Buck. First one is a 722 Spitfire with S30V steel and the other is the Omni 12pt Hunter with guthook in 12c27mod Sandvik steel. Both are very nice and extremely sharp. Can't wait to put them to use.

New Custom Shop 110 for me. Nickel bolsters, buckeye burl scales and S30V blade. Perfect action, smooth and tight, zero blade play.

Very nice. The knives I got are my first foray into the better steels. Also enabled me to retire the old Sharp knife I bought at Kmart in the 80's. Dulls quickly but has gutted a few deer. It'll be hung on the wall with the last buck it was used on.

Rob, you'll love the S30V. Buck does an excellent job with their heat treatment.

Actually that is Bos Heat Treat. They and Buck are joined at the hip.

Thank you Charlie! A drop point 110 with upgraded steel is on the short list.

Picked up of these the other day. Always liked the 110’s. Just didn’t like how thick they were.
This is more to my liking. ~$30

I got a 2 line 3 pin buck 110 for Christmas. Love the extra slim profile and weight at 5.7 oz, 2oz lighter than my two dot 110.
