That said, I'm glad they did something to at least reduce the number of applicants for sheep, goat, and moose. It is already near impossible to draw, but what they did last year would have made it about 10X worse.

I let my points go in NV, AZ, UT and CO before I got too deep. Point creep will keep your odds really low unless you've got max points. The money I save by not buying a license in each of those states, plus the point fees has really helped allow me to afford plane tickets to Alaska and such. It's all about priorities and what is most important to you I guess, though at some point nobody but the upper 1% will be able to hunt. That sucks but it is what it is. It'll for sure keep some people feom applying so odds may increase, if tag numbers don't go down.

The only states I mess with now are MT, ID, WY and AK. I buy a moose point in Maine each year since no license is required to do that, so hopefully they don't pull this stunt either. Since NM is a random state I will probably keep applying there...but if points were in the mix I'd say sianara.

I'm down to WY for deer and antelope and AK moose. I only do AK moose since my good friend can outfit me up there and the hunt itself is relatively cheap. Of course, now my boy is putting in and if he draws it, I'll have to pay for both of us to fly up there. But...if he were to go up there and shoot something, I wouldn't miss it for the world!

Bravo

I normally don't find big women interesting but that lass is definitely a looker.
