I recently received my 8x25 Victory pocket binoculars from Doug and am exceedingly happy with them. Field of view is large for pocket binos, 390', depth of focus seems to match my 8x42 Conquest HD's! Image is clear and bright, resolution was hard to believe in a pocket bino. The focus is slow enough to establish focus w/o having to roll back and forth (a problem with other pocket binos I have used). I haven't had much of a chance to use them in low light conditions, will be able to hunt with them next week.

So far they are greatly exceeding my expectations!

Thanks for the report David. Pocket binos have become my favorite for all around use. I haven't used anything as nice as the Victory, but had the Swaro 8x25, tried the Terra 8x25, and now just carry the Legend 10x25. None are good in low light, but all do surprisingly well otherwise. The Legend suited my needs so well that I sold the Swaros, and have no desire to replace them with anything bigger or heavier.

It's been a while since I've tried a new pocket bino. Years ago a hunting buddy in another town had a pair of pocket 6x Bushnell Bino's, forget the series. The little pocket 6x's were an amazingly handy piece of kit, which of course Bushnell had long before quit making.

I bought several inexpensive pairs (my budget was different then) attempting to find something I liked as well. I eventually purchased a pair of 9x25 Legends (the old single hinge model) that had pretty decent glass. I used them for a while and still have them, but the lack of focus depth combined w/ an overly fast focus adjustment make them an aggravation to use.

I'm sure those 8x25 Victory are awesome. Enjoy.
