I’m curious as to what all is involved in hunting in Finland for a U.S. citizen. My brother in law and wife are near 75% Finn and I’m a smidge. I’m more of Danish/Viking heritage but enough Finn to want to go 😀. Growing up in Michigan’s western Upper Peninsula makes you Finn by proxy I think. Anyhow, my brother in law and my wife are wanting to go someday and my thought is why make the trip and not go hunting,or at least fishing. I know there is good moose (elk) hunting in Finland and was wondering on what is all involved in going on a hunt. Price,paperwork etc. what else is there to hunt if this is not feasible and or what and where for fishing. This trip will be about three years down the road. I’m not leaving the country with out a good old fashioned sauna minimum!
