I'd love to see them BIG Canadian deer also!

I don't always venture out into the sub-freezing darkness, but when I do, it is deer hunting season, and I carry a Remington. Stay hungry my friends.

Some good mule deer taken this year. Whitetail population is very low in my area. We had a couple really bad winters and whitetail haven't recovered. Most of the regional wildlife federations wanted no season on whitetail to let the population increase. They also wanted more mule deer licences to be issued because of a high population. Whitetail is OTC . Mule deer is draw.

Unlike some areas farther south, in our area of Central Saskatchewan whitetails have mostly recovered from the bad winters. there were quite a few decent bucks taken by local hunters this year, most probably measuring in the 150" range if that matters. I don't have any pictures to share, sorry!
