They are rare enough around here I'd hate to dish rag one with a Vmax. They say everything happens for a reason. For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

Very minimal damage. Took the same shot a few weeks ago on another cat and had a much more colorful hole....go figure. But this one was perfect.

JamesJr Campfire Ranger Joined: Nov 2015 Posts: 19,196 The Pennyrile of Kentucky	Pretty cat. The ones here tend to have more grey than yellow. I've shot a number of cats with a 50 grain VMax out of a 223, and found it to be very fur friendly, more so than heavier weight bullets.
