Thanks! That’s my hunting pard and local gunsmith who turned me into a rifle looney.
He is a traditional wood and blued pre64 curmudgeon but is coming around on McMillan stocks and stainless barrels. Still can’t get him to use a scope that doesn’t have Leupold on it....
He also is a fair hand at building custom muzzleloaders with wood stocks fashioned after old English sporting rifles.
