Dan Wesson 41 magnum. 8” barrel with correct barrel wrench included. Blue with original wood grips. It may not have been fired when I got it, but I have shot 20 rounds from it. Near perfect. $750 shipped.

I dunno, Quint's rifle didn't work and needed some help. That 38 special didn't seem to even be noticed. Just to be safe I'd stick to sunfish off the dock with the 41 mag.
