A first for Jorge at DSC: We are cruising the aisles and I introduce him to my Spanish buddy PH Eduardo Aroaz. Naturaally after the obligatory "mucho gusto" they start yammering in Spanish as Eduardo admires Jorge's flight jacket. As we depart, Jorge tells me "that's the first time someone from another country thanked me for my service."

Came by the booths where you were reported to be , but was told you had just left - both times!
Did you have a lookout posted?
Anyhow it was a good show and we accomplished our objectives AND discovered a new place soon opening that is crawling with black bear and boars so I had to move on. Maybe next year.
Show bonus - we saw Colonel Allen West in the NRA Hospitality Suite and my wife had her picture taken with him.
I hope you like the warm weather today! It has snowed back here on the farm. I saw Allen West too. Handsome devil, he dresses up nicely. Too bad the Dems gerrymandered him out of a District.

Houston Safari Club has moved their show to the Brown Convention Center, this weekend. Last year it was squeezed into a hotel in the Woodlands, north of town. I think they probably are anticipating more traffic as well. Seems like Houston would be convenient for exhibitors, after attending Dallas - and there's no shortage of money in Houston, either
