John, I have some 200 gr .358 Woodleighs that I used to use in my .350 rem mag. Suggested impact velocity is 1500 - 2500 fps. I would like to resurrect a .358 win mannlicher schoenauer from the safe. Thinking that your load of 52 grs of TAC that you used with 200 gr Hornady SP's should work. Any opinion? I would use the woodleighs for hunting and pracice with the less expensive interlocks.

Nifty M-S!

TAC should work, but might have to be reduced a grain or two, as Woodleighs tend to produce a little more pressure than some other bullets.

That s exactly what I was wondering about. Thanks! I have a 6.5x54 and a .358, both carbines that are too nice NOt to shoot. Don't know how many more hunting seasons I have left so it's time to un-warehouse them

One last question, magnum primers for sure?

I would try standard primers, and if they don't provide the results you want, then try magnums.
