35 grains of CFE223 (opening load). I didn't chrono it due to cattle overrunning my position. This was with my Tikka T3X 22-250 with an 8'' twist.

Hornady data is a starting point in this case. If loading a powder with no published data I look at burn rates & case fill to select a powder suitable for my cartridge & chosen bullet weight. I use a chronograph and watch for traditional signs of pressure to validate that I'm on the right track.

How many grains of H414 and what brass/primer with the 75 ELDs?

What are your thoughts on the 73 vs 75 vs 80 eld match? I've got an 8 twist, but I haven't picked a bullet to start playing with.

Mine has a one in 7 twist... but I know that a 1 in 8 twist 223 will stabilize both the 73 and 75 grain plastic
tipped bullets.....I've also shot quite a few 80 grain A Maxes in mine....it and the 75 BTHP are the two most accurate bullets in mine, over 70 grains.

Castle, I have the digital manual and Hornady lumps all their 73 to 75 grain bullets into one data sheet. For Varget the manual shows a max of 33.4 and a velocity of 3200 fps. They do not show any flavor of 4350. Fastest load was 41.0 of Superformance at 3350 fps. Nest fastest loads were H414/37.9, RL 17/37.9, and 4007ssc. 37.6 all clocking 3300 fps. Hope this helps
