I came across a really nice rifle the other day that I couldn't pass up. It had an awesome scope on it and seems to be everything needed for a long range rifle. I know several here are familiar with Alamo Precision, so I figured I'd share it...

I'm not sure if I'm keeping it yet, but I'd like to know what loads you guys have had success with in 28 Nosler?

Thanks in advance!

APR is doing some great things.
I have a thread here about my 28 Nosler.
Be sure to let me know if you decide to let this rifle go!

That is called ratchet fluting, and is most effective at reducing weight and inducing cooling.

They totally suck ballz... Horrible caliber for LR shooting or hunting. An absolute pile...How much you want to sell it for??? 😁😎

Ask Kingston or dvdgeorge. They have a lot of recent knowledge on loads that are working for them, albeit different rifle maker.

You should just sell it to me and be done with the frustration 😎

Thanks Sako76! From what I understand, that's a unique fluting that Alamo offers.

Lol, you never know! I did finally get some factory ammo in for it. I doubt it will live up to it's full potential with the factory ammo, but I'm anxious to see what it can do.

I haven't checked to see yet. I bought it on a whim because of the optic and the quality of the build. I'd seen mention of the 28 Nosler several times, but hadn't really even researched the caliber. I typically don't do that, but this is such a nice rifle, and I don't often come across builds like this in my area.

It had a S&B PM II 5-25 on it...the S&B may go back on it but I'm not certain yet.

Yeah, you should probably let that one go super cheap before shooting it.

They built me a lefty 6.5 creedmoor. I was impressed with the whole process. Jason took my order and answers questions i had on several calls.

I follow them on FB. They are turning out some really nice guns.
