Target Sports has this in stock in "Brick" or Case quantities. If you've never used this ammunition before, you might be surprised how quiet it actually is!
It pushed a 40 grain round nose slug at around 710 fps IIRC, and is a great pest or varmint load in area's where a loud report isn't wanted...….
Back in Michigan when I ran a trapline, I used it in my rifle and revolver for dispatching critters as I trapped Public land and didn't want to give away my locations to folks that might steal my fur & traps!

I found it quiet but not very accurate in my Rem. 552. Twenty four inch barrel. Yes, it would cycle the action.

They have a segmented version now, and it's a good deal more effective than the original loads. I've used the solids before, but quit when I hit a coon dead square between the eyes, and it took five minutes to die. At least the segmented loads work pretty well. I like the Subsonic Segmented loads even better. Still pretty quiet, and more effective yet again.

I bought a bunch, 4 or 5 bricks, when I first saw it during the crunch. Think I paid less than $2.50 a box. Good stuff in guns that like it, just like everything else. Lands close enough to RWS SS HPs from my 77/22 RSI to make good practice ammo.
Stuff like this has worked okay for me in closed-breech handguns, but not in the two revolvers I've tried. I put a green CTC laser on my Victory the other day, adjusted it to the same point as the See-All sight, and shot a decent group off a rest, in my basement at 10 yards, manually fed, of course. Much better and more useful than Colibris IME.
What fresh Hell is this?

Love'em, no longer have to look or search for super colibris. Its just as quiet and more accurate than colibis. Shot a hole tube out of mine 550-1 without issues as quick as I could pull the trigger.

CCI Quiets
No they won't cycle any 10-22 I've tried them in (excepting one I put a VQ 22 short bolt in and that doesn't count).
Much better than Colibri's===> the quiet's have a 40 grain bullet as opposed to 19 grains or whatever the colibri's have, and 29 grains for the CCI CB Longs (and CB Shorts).
The CCI Quiets are much more accurate than the CB's and the Colibri's. We shoot eggs with CCI Quiets at 50 yards, at 50 yards the Colibri's are a shotgun pattern and the CB's are better but not enough to be useful (excepting a 22 short rifle that I have which does pretty good at 50 yards with CCI CB's).
I bought some of the CCi Quiet 'Segmented' (since I have two guns sighted in for Quiets), I was disappointed in that they do not hit anywhere near the same POI.
The longer the barrel the quieter they are, pistol; it's a waste, 16 inch barrel; it's a waste, 24 inch barrel===> hearing safe out of a bolt gun.

It cycles in my 10-22--I put the lightest Kidd spring in but it wouldn't cycle the MKIII with the can

Jerry None of several segmented rounds I've sampled has shot very well out of my rifles. Holler points are the way to go for me, anyway. Too bad, as I like the concept, and expect the terminal effects are good, but you gotta hit 'em first. Don't recall a shift in POI, but my testing was strictly for groups. Up close, I suppose they have some utility for pest shooting.

I've been using them in my Remington 580 for tree rats and suspect that my velocity out of the 24" barrel is more in the 550-600fps range. As ratsmacker said, the solids aren't reliable killers. Maybe the segmented version will work better. I plan to chronograph them in the spring to confirm my suspicions about velocity. I love that they are no noisier than a pellet gun though.
