Guntec USA Launches the
Gen II .308 Hand Guard

Scottsdale, AZ (November 13, 2018) Guntec USA,a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative tactical weapon accessories continues to improve on their already impressive line of hand guards by introducing the all-new Gen II Air-Lok Series Hand Guard. Considered the leader in tactical hand guards, Guntec’s original Air-Lok Hand Guard was one the company’s highest-selling products in 2018, after countless hours of research Guntec took the appropriate steps in creating a more advanced and highly functional hand guard. 
This new series of hang guards has a T6 aluminum body with a more advanced, new and proprietary Compression Lock Down design. The Air-Lok Gen II Hand guard comes with significantly more features which includes the proprietary, lightweight barrel nut, M-Lok slots on 4 sides of hand guard (top, bottom, left & right), diamond skeletonized cuts throughout to reduce weight, rail system slides over barrel nut and is compressed down against receiver with 4 screws, an extremely tight fit up against receiver, allowing for a monolithic top rail, plus many more features. 
“Our customers really enjoyed the first generation of the Air-Lock Series, but we noticed that our customers are requiring and requesting different features,” said Philippe Kent, Vice President of Guntec USA. “The biggest request was for deleting the picatinny rail and replacing with M-Lok slots across the rail and only leaving picatinny slots on the front and back of the rail.”
