I agree with SharpsGuy. Government is open. Workers get paid. If Peeeelosi & S don't negotiate in good faith by Feb 15. Government will shut down again or some other steps taken. I don't believe for a minute that Trump has caved and decided he won't get the wall.

He spent his whole business career dealing with politicians trying to bend him over the table, especially Schumer. If anyone would have a handle on dealing with politicians it would be him. One does not build skyscrapers in NYC without dealing with people trying to screw you over.

I may not agree with every single thing Trump does.

Contrary to what many on here believe, Donald Trump is human, and not perfect. There has only been ONE perfect person that walked this earth, and until He comes back, there won't be another one. Too many of you think that every time Trump farts, it smells like Chanel # 5, and every time he chits, it is a masterpiece. He is just like the rest of us, prone to making mistakes, and I see nothing wrong with criticizing him when he is wrong. I also see nothing wrong with heaping the praise on him when he does good.

Having said that, I'm disappointed that he caved, and there is no way at this time that it is anything but a victory for Pelosi. I think he should have stuck to his guns, and followed through with his campaign promise. I don't see it as 3D chess, or anything remotely close. All it does is give more power to the Democrats, and make Trump look bad. All of which proves he is a mortal man, and not a God as some of you want to see him.
