Sam recently posted on another thread that his truck sideslipped off a frozen cow turd and suffered a scratch. For some reason the image this created in my mind cracked me up and I jokingly requested a picture.

Today I high centered my 4 Runner in the snow while attempting to go coyote hunting near Ely, Nv

Twice

3 1/2 hours of shoveling, w/ an avalanche shovel and a garden spade, later I concluded that ranchers in Montana may have knowledge different than mine.

Or, karma is a bitc hgrin

Sucks to drive that far and get stuck in our backyard. One phone call & I would have been happy to come out & give my experienced opinion on how you were truly phuuked. I would have brought my wife, she's a snow-moving machine.

Getting stuck is part of hunting. We had to cut through a huge snow drift, just to get to the good hunting on the other side. Digging through hard snow, then chaining up the front tires. And this was just for rabbits...

Hi WR, Thanks for the offer, I had a pair of cool ones in the ice chest, we could have drank and bs'ed while watching our wives shovel.

I would just get stuck in deeper snow, winter predator hunting is too much fun to miss.

Proper shovels are key.

bet y'all could drive in the sand on the island, i have never been stuck but have pulled several people out. sand sucks when you get stuck in it, specially with a tide coming in.

Way back when BGG was here I drove my F350 out on a sandbar and of course got stuck. Total bonehead but there was no tide....

He had a winch on his Power Wagon and it pulled the Ford out.

I was impressed.
